We hope you can join us at one of our three Christmas Eve services!

10:00 a.m. Christmas Pageant
Led by our Confirmation Class, this worship service will be held in Fellowship Hall on Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome for a wonderful celebration of Christmas joy. We will join Mary and Joseph as they journey toward Bethlehem. Together we encounter angel messengers and follow the shepherds as they discover a child wrapped in swaddling cloth, laying in a manger.

7:00 p.m. Service of Lessons and Carols
Come and worship with us in Fellowship Hall as we sing Christmas Carols and hear the sacred stories of the coming of the baby Jesus into the world. It is a beautiful, inspiring narrative with our Chancel Choir and Christmas Brass leading the way in song. A classic and meaningful service with all the joy of the season brought forward; “O come let us adore him! Christ the Lord”.

9:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion
Our late service will be held upstairs in the Sanctuary. Our worship includes the story of Jesus birth, singing the beloved Christmas carols, and adds an essential element of Jesus’ ministry as we break bread together and celebrate Communion. What could be more meaningful on a Christmas Eve than sharing the sacrament with one another and with Christ in the beauty of our Sanctuary.

We have two Sunday morning worship services at 8:00 and 10:00. Nursery Care is provided during the 10:00 service, located in the Gilomen Room. We will be holding our Sunday morning services in Fellowship Hall while our elevator is out of order, with exception of our 8:00 Communion Service on the first Sunday mornings of the month and our 9:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Service.

Our elevator is currently out of order. We are holding our services in Fellowship Hall with exception of our 8:00 Communion Service on the first Sunday morning of each month, and the 9:00 p.m. Christmas Eve service.

The first Sunday morning of each month we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion at both 8:00 and 10:00. Holy Communion in our church is open to all who seek to follow in the way of Christ, both children and adults.

Every Sunday morning during the program year we provide nursery care at our 10:00 service for children newborn through elementary. Parents are required to register their children, and to sign their children in and out of the Nursery. We want to do our very best to make the Nursery safe and secure. On the fourth Sunday of every month at 10:00, we celebrate with a Family Service which includes the participation of our children and youth.

On the second Sunday of every month, we hold Church School during the 10:00 service. On the fourth Sunday of every month at 10:00, we celebrate with a Family Service which includes the participation of our children and youth.

We currently offer two dynamic choirs - the Handbell Choir and the Chancel Choir. Please note that the Children's Choir is on hiatus at the moment.

HANDBELL CHOIR - Open to all high school students and older. You do not need to be a member of our church to participate. Feel free to invite your friends and neighbors to join. The Handbells rehearse every Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 in the music room. They generally perform on the third Sunday of each month during the 10:00 service. No experience is necessary. If you can count to ten, you can learn how to play! Director Lydia Linendoll began leading our Handbells two years ago. Lydia is also a member of the Milwaukee Handbell Ensemble.

CHANCEL CHOIR - Open to all high school students and older. You do not need to be a member of our church to participate. Therefore, if you have a friend or neighbor who enjoys singing, feel free to invite them. The choir rehearses every Monday evening from 6:30 - 7:30 in the sanctuary. They generally perform on the second and fifth Sundays of each month during the 10:00 service. No experience is necessary, and you don’t need to know how to read music. Join at any time! Director Brett Dimmer has led the Chancel Choir for 10 years. Brett begins his 25th year teaching instrumental music in the Grafton school district and just finished his inaugural year as the Director of the Port Washington City Band.

We host a Fellowship Hour following our 8:00 service on the first Sunday of each month, and following our 10:00 services on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit with other families and friends in the church. Please make an effort to introduce yourself to people you haven’t met.

Our Property Team is an active church team comprised of a handful of folks from the church. The team keeps a close eye on our church and works to maintain all aspects of our church building and grounds. Bill Bond is their Team Representative on the Church Council. Bill invites anyone who is interested to join the team. They meet at 11:00 on the third Friday of each month. One of the team members, Claude Zimmerman, takes notes at each of their monthly meetings and drafts minutes. Click here to view their recent minutes.

You are invited to join our Wednesday Lunch Group each week at Noon on Wednesdays as we meet together in the Dennett Room for lunch, study, and great conversation. Bring your own lunch and a beverage, and we will read and discuss the Bible passages that will be used in worship on the coming Sunday morning. Please know that you don’t need to be a Bible expert to participate! Pastor Scott will provide some background information about the Bible passages and an assortment of thought-provoking questions. The conversation naturally moves on from there and the discussion is always interesting. There is usually lots of laughter and the sharing of individual opinions and perspectives. Consider making the Wednesday Lunch Group a part of your weekly schedule!

Everyone is welcome to participate in a yoga class each Wednesday evening at 6:00 at church, led by Dawn Stacey, a licensed yoga instructor and PTA. The group meets in the open classroom space across from the Music Room. Each class costs $12, payable to Dawn via check, cash, or Venmo.

Every Thursday morning at 8:00 a group of members and friends of the church get together for coffee, breakfast, and conversation. This delightful group of men meet at The Beacon restaurant, located downtown on the first floor of the Harborview hotel, and converse. The FCC Men’s Breakfast Group is open to all the men of the church. Everyone places their own order and pays their own bill. It is a great way to spend the morning and jumpstart your day!You are welcome to join the group at any time! The group meets year round.

Please visit our Stewardship page to view information on financially supporting the church. If you are interested in giving to the church through PayPal, please look for the PayPal button on the home page. Thank you!
